It’s a traditional hotel that was renovated a couple of years ago with a lot of taste (and surely money). Old wooden beams are visible and match well with the white plastering. It features a nice restaurant and the breakfast was ok, there could be more options for vegetarians and vegan as not everyone in the world likes to eat meat anymore (the offered a fully meat based platter for breakfast). Our room was quiet (behind the house) but very small, we had to climb over our luggage. The area behind the hotel is worth exploring on foot, it’s wonderful and it’s a pity it’s no longer visible due to some newly build apartment block (and more being build right now). The hotel features and underground parking which is good but difficult to enter as it’s very narrow entry. Outside parking is available but was full when we arrived from guests who came for lunch only. No elevator so you have to carry up your luggage to the room.

The beds were very comfortable and soft, and the room was always clean and well-maintained. Breakfast offered a good variety of fresh and delicious options, just the right amount without being overwhelming. Ekaterina, the waiter, was exceptional—she provided excellent service with a smile, always attentive and prompt. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable experience with great hospitality. Highly recommend! Parking always available. 1 hour drive to amazing Titlis mountains, Flumserberg and Pizol Swiss Alps.
